SAFETY AND ORDER THROUGH ROAD MARKINGS AND LINING
Markings and lines inform, warn, and indicate. Our professional marking company, W.J. de Bruijn Road Markings, operates in Southwest Netherlands and Flanders, applying various markings and lines and removing old markings. This includes signaling markings (such as arrows, traffic signs), longitudinal markings (edge and center lines on roads, bike paths, parking spaces, and walkways), and figurative markings (such as crosswalks, texts, and optical speed bumps). Additionally, we specialize in both vertical and horizontal indoor marking.
VARIOUS ROAD MARKINGS
We strive to find a suitable and sustainable solution for every type of surface. We consider the level of traffic and the structure and type of surface. We apply markings and lines using two-component road paint, tape marking, coating, cold plastic, thermoplastic, or road paint. We use modern, computer-controlled equipment for application. Besides the standard white, we can apply any color of paint with a RAL number. We remove old markings on asphalt by fine milling or water blasting. If the asphalt is damaged, we protect it by applying a bitumen layer.
TWO-COMPONENT ROAD PAINT
Our two-component road paint is a fast-drying paint based on hydroxy acrylate resins. This paint is primarily suitable for concrete surfaces that are heavily trafficked. Therefore, this type is often used in warehouses, loading docks, and other concrete pavements with high activity. Besides its durability, two-component road paint has the advantage of adhering well to the (concrete) surface. It is wear-resistant, resistant to oil and grease, and absorbs little dirt.
TAPE MARKING
We use tape marking for temporary or permanent lining. Tape is durable and adheres well to various surfaces. When applied temporarily, for example, for an event, it can be removed without damaging the surface. Tape marking has excellent reflection and is therefore highly visible at night. If safety is a major concern, tape marking can be a solution.
COATING
We apply coatings when bike paths, pedestrian crossings, roundabouts, squares, or sports fields need to be marked. Our coatings are suitable for various surfaces and are durable, fully covering, slip and wear-resistant, and available in all RAL colors. Due to its high wear resistance, it is also used for figurative markings on roundabouts and intersections. The coating has a rough texture, is non-slip, and does not contain glass beads, which significantly reduces reflection. This enhances traffic safety.
THERMOPLASTIC
We use durable, environmentally friendly, and long-lasting thermoplastic for various types of road markings. Thermoplastic is ideal for asphalt applications. Due to its thickness and the presence of glass beads, this material lasts three to five times longer than other markings. The glass beads also ensure good nighttime visibility. Thermoplastic is first heated to about 160 degrees, then the liquefied product is fused with the asphalt.
ROAD PAINT
Our road paint is a budget-friendly material that adheres well and can be used on all surfaces. It is fast-drying and available in all traffic colors. Road paint contains anti-skid agents and glass beads, enhancing traffic safety and nighttime visibility. It consists of a binder, pigment, and filler. Road paint can be applied both permanently and temporarily.
